As you can see, dear Michel has been and given a good talking to that blasted idiotic sign maker! May I invite you all to now admire the properly spelt sign?

The new sign looks lovely Lord Henry.

I must say from all the clubs I had visited, this one looks most apealing. I am hoping to meet new people here, and hopefully some friends whilst having a drink or two.

OOC: You might want to link to this one from the previous community, I had to look for it in LJ search after a friend informed of the change

I hope that you will too, dear fellow, friendship is hard to come by these days. I do so hop[e you'll make use of our little establishment!

OOC: Will do, ta! I really don't know what I'd do without all these helpful suggestions!

Excellent job! That should avoid further confusion. Well done, Lord Henry.

Returning the card he had been given with the scribbled amendment on the backback to his pocket, Lovelace pushed the doors open and walked into the club. He noted the newly painted sign, and walked into the lounge area, finding others already in there. Stopping, putting a finely stockinged leg forward, he bowed. "Gentlemen, good afternoon to you all," he said, an appraising eye passing over each of them.

"Robert Lovelace, Esquire, pleased to make your acquaintance."

He allows Michel to take coat, checking his cravat is still perfectly in place, and smoothing a hand over his wig once it is gone.

"Well, shall we have a drink, to toast the new premises and the future pleasant gatherings I hope take place here?"

"Good to meet you, Mr. Lovelace," the Sergeant says with a smile. He's wearing civilian clothes, for once. Respectably cut and tailored, but he moves like a man who's not used to wearing them. "I'm Sergeant Bill Preston, of the RCMP. Just got here a little while ago myself."

"Good afternoon Mr. Lovelace," Julian said looking at the man who had recently entered the lounge area. "A toast to pleasant future gatherings do sound like a good idea, after all, that is what we are all looking for, and if not all, most of us at the least." Julian smiled.
